About
Inside Travel
Inside
Travel sprouted from Lila's travels with friends. Lila, the founding
member, is an experienced traveler known for her unique traveling style.
She mostly enjoys mingling with the locals while traveling very economically.
She has backpacked and camped inside Mexico, some of Europe, the United
States, Brazil, Bermuda, Jamaica, the Virgin Islands, and Canada. On her
latest trips she has learned to appreciate the comfort of a local inn
bed. While working for state government and attending work conferences,
Lila often got in trouble for staying in state parks and renting bikes
for her transportation. A native of Puerto Rico, her dream is to share
her favorite spots and the small island diverse ecosystem with her traveling
friends in a manner that resembles the life style and culture of the puertorriqueños.
Spanish is her native language, but after 22 years in the US she speaks
English too!
Why
Travel with Us?
How so Inexpensively?
We
view traveling as a way to better understand the world, and a way to broaden
our cultural experiences. It is our mission to make travel accessible
and affordable. Because we are local, we know the locals. There is no
intermediary or other salesperson between you and Inside Traveling. Most
important, Inside Travel will not sacrifice safety, comfort, cleanliness,
or healthy eating because of cost. Since our trips actively involve the
inside traveler you should be in good health. Remember, we will be hiking,
swimming and just having fun!

We
do conduct energetic week-long trips to Puerto Rico. We are not a travel
agency, and therefore we don't book airfares, except for our special group
trips. Booking for air travel is done through "Viajes Coquí" (viajes@coqui.net
or call 1-787-754-7757, 7769) in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, or you can make
your own. We don't book rooms or make reservations except for our own
trips or special group trips.
